On the front of the program for Nannup Music Festival it says ‘A weekend of discovery and everything awesome’. So true, if you have not been you should really put it on your list. The setting is so beautiful and it has such a lovely vibe. There is plenty to do, with seven stages of fantastic music, workshops, a long line of colourful markets, a dedicated kids area, an artwear parade, street shows and the Emerging Artist Award ceremony.
The whole crew from Totally Sound are involved in this event, and there is not much in the way of equipment left in the factory when the trucks role out down the hwy to Nannup. It is such an enjoyable gig. Great people, awesome talent. We caught up with old friends Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse, who between them create a little magic, Kallidad were really popular, Timothy Nelson and the Infidels, The Pierce Brothers, Dan Sultan, Dilip n’ the Davs, Morgan Bain and The Swoop, Melody Pool and Ruby boots …..and so many more.
