You know it is Australia Day when the Apex barbies fire up at 6.30am!
From then there was not a dull moment in what was an awesome Australia Day at Bicentennial Square in the great City of Bunbury.
There was a big turnout for the Citizenship and Awards ceremony and then it was time for family fun. Sideshow Alley, water slides, food trucks galore, markets, rides, gaming, something for everyone.
Late afternoon as temperature came down the huge crowd were treated to a live music concert at the Shell. Santori & Gamble, the Nicki Rose Duo, Blue Child Collective, These Galahs and finally Felix had the crowd getting their groove on.
The Totally Sound crew were kept busy all day with the ceremony, Sound and Lighting for the Music Concert and PA around the foreshore for the much loved Skyworks Simulcast. Kameryn Snow on LX, Jared Ross on Monitors and Walter Smith at FOH. Great to be working alongside Dean and Sharon from Lomax again.
The evening culminated in the much anticipated Skyworks show, and it did not disappoint. Well done to the event crew from the City of Bunbury, it was quite a day.
