If you have not ventured down to the Nannup Music Festival in the past, pencil it in for the WA Labour Day long weekend for 2017. It is a great day or weekend outing for people of all ages. Really family friendly, with lots for the kids to see and do. Awesome talent again this year, with the likes of Patient Little Sister, Kallidad, Steve Poltz, Elk Bell, Suzannah Espie, Messer’s Lore, Iris, Teishcha, Soul Movers and Sidewalk Diamonds and so many more. Have a look at the website, http://nannupmusicfestival.org/ for more info.
This is a multi stage event, with the main Amphitheatre, the Depot Stage, the Town Hall, Tigerville, Village Green and the Playground Stage and of course the ever popular Nannup Hotel. There are also plenty of buskers and roaming entertainers who add to that wonderful festival atmosphere. Markets all weekend, camping and lots of great food vans add to the experience. The stages offer a range of different options, including workshops and jam sessions all interspersed with great artist performances. True Spirit Revival – Yoga with live music at the Village Green is an example of a popular experience with a difference you will find in Nannup. The Playground stage has great performers all weekend with the added benefit of a whole range of interesting and wholesome kids activities and a coffee van near by. Must be a parents delight!
Totally Sound have been doing the sound, lighting and staging at the Nannup Music Festival for many years. We also proudly sponsor the Industry Peers Award for emerging artists. The crew love this event. Kym, our Sound Engineer who takes care of the Town Hall stage tells me he always feels a little low the day after the festival, a little sad that it has to come to an end each year. This year was no exception, with lots of great artists to enjoy, an energetic committee who are a dream to work with and perfect weather.
